Över-Ransjön
Character of the water
Över-Ransjön lies in central Sweden — a clear oligotrophic forest lake.
The surroundings
The lake lies remote, ringed by forest and bog far from any road. Few find their way here — the water is untouched and the stock undisturbed.
Moderately deep (15 m) — shallow bays, the odd reef and a deeper channel through the middle.

Species in Över-Ransjön
Fishing Över-Ransjön
Över-Ransjön holds 8 species, with perch, pike and grayling at the top of the chain and elritsa, roach and whitefish schooling beneath them. The depth gives the water two storeys — and the fish move between them with the season.
Whoever fishes Över-Ransjön regularly builds something of their own: a log of what took, where and when. That's how the water gives up its patterns — cast by cast, never all at once.
