Bostorpagöl
Character of the water
Bostorpagöl lies in the south — a southern mesotrophic stratified lake. In summer a thermocline settles around 6 m and splits the lake into two worlds.
The surroundings
The lake lies half-remote, a fair way from the nearest road, tucked into woodland.
Moderately deep (9 m) — shallow bays, the odd reef and a deeper channel through the middle.

Fishing permit required — Bostorpagöl FVOF. Day permit ~60 kr · annual permit ~300 kr.

Species in Bostorpagöl
Fishing Bostorpagöl
perch, pike and burbot sit at the top of the food chain in Bostorpagöl, carried by roach. The clearer water makes the fish wary — and rewards a careful presentation.
The fishing here follows the water's own rhythm: dawn and dusk have their windows, fronts close and open them, and the season moves the fish. No two sessions at Bostorpagöl are alike.
General rules of thumb for this kind of water
- Stratified, oxygen-poor lakes push the fish up above the thermocline in summer.
