Hagesjön
Character of the water
Hagesjön lies in the south — a southern mesotrophic lake.
The surroundings
The lake lies remote, ringed by forest and bog far from any road. Few find their way here — the water is untouched and the stock undisturbed.
A small but surprisingly deep pocket (21 m) with steep drops straight down from shore — the bottom falls away fast.

Fishing permit required — Hagesjön FVOF. Day permit ~140 kr · annual permit ~700 kr.

Species in Hagesjön
Fishing Hagesjön
Hagesjön holds 3 species, with perch and pike at the top of the chain and roach schooling beneath them. The depth gives the water two storeys — and the fish move between them with the season.
The fishing here follows the water's own rhythm: dawn and dusk have their windows, fronts close and open them, and the season moves the fish. No two sessions at Hagesjön are alike.
General rules of thumb for this kind of water
- In deep, oxygenated lakes the predators seek cool depth in summer, shallower in spring and autumn.
