Lilla Skiren
Character of the water
Lilla Skiren lies in the south — a southern acidified forest lake. Acidification has thinned life down to the hardiest few.
The surroundings
The lake lies remote, ringed by forest and bog far from any road. Few find their way here — the water is untouched and the stock undisturbed.
Moderately deep (8 m) — shallow bays, the odd reef and a deeper channel through the middle.

Fishing Lilla Skiren
perch, pike and trout sit at the top of the food chain in Lilla Skiren, carried by ål, ruffe and roach. The nutrient-rich water means plenty of baitfish — and predators that grow fat on them.
Whoever fishes Lilla Skiren regularly builds something of their own: a log of what took, where and when. That's how the water gives up its patterns — cast by cast, never all at once.
