Lilltjärnen
Character of the water
Lilltjärnen lies in the cold north — a northern mesotrophic stratified lake. In summer a thermocline settles around 8 m and splits the lake into two worlds.
The surroundings
The lake lies half-remote, a fair way from the nearest road, tucked into woodland.
A small but surprisingly deep pocket (14 m) with steep drops straight down from shore — the bottom falls away fast.

Fishing permit required — Lilltjärnen FVOF. Day permit ~140 kr · annual permit ~700 kr.

Species in Lilltjärnen
Fishing Lilltjärnen
perch, pike and burbot sit at the top of the food chain in Lilltjärnen, carried by roach. The clearer water makes the fish wary — and rewards a careful presentation.
The fishing here follows the water's own rhythm: dawn and dusk have their windows, fronts close and open them, and the season moves the fish. No two sessions at Lilltjärnen are alike.
